Export Zip - Index.htm doesn't play

Ehmm, ok. So what is the purpose of exporting the package?

I'm a medical student creating a tutorial using xerte for a project. I have to submit it for marking by my supervisor so need to export the files so he can use and test the project. Is this possible?

Several options.
1. Depending on whether you're xot installation is available online by your supervisor, send him/her the link

2. Set MAXOS on a usb stick, import the LO in the MAXOS xot and give that to your supervisor

I have a similar problem with exported HTML 5 LOs. Double-clicking index.htm does load the LO in IE 9 after displaying a warning, but it is very slow (on Chrome it just says "The project data has not loaded."). Is it possible to run the LOs from a CD-ROM offline? If yes, how?

We've identified a possible reason for the slowness, and we'll try to fix that shortly.

The best way to implement an offline CDROM is using a tiny webserver and start that in a startup script. See for example www.ritlabs.com/en/products/tinyweb/
