Hello,
Apologies if this has been raised before - I've looked through the archives and haven't been able to find anything. I'm trying to install Xerte Online Toolkits and have successfully installed XAMPP following the installation guide. However this links is down http://localhost/xertetoolkits/setup/ so I cannot complete the installation. Does anyone know of an alternative method?
Many thanks
Frances

I have just managed to install xerte online toolkit with the following instruction guide.

lists.nottingham.ac.uk/pipermail/xerte/2...eptember/000730.html
This instruction worked. Use xertetoolkits_3.2.zip

The last sentence http://localhost/toolkits/demo.txt change into php could work if there was a demo.txt.
Instead I put in http://localhost/toolkits/index.php.

Notice! I have used xertetoolkits_3.2.zip from this site. I also inserted the update zip.

My problem is that my source zips (I want to edit existing content) are to big.

Thank you for sending me that guide, however I am still having difficulties with the URL http://localhost/toolkits/setup/. I get an error message that the file is not found or the page cannot be displayed. I have tried this in Firefox, Chrome and IE.
Does anyone have any ideas of what could be wrong?
Many thanks

Assuming that you unpacked the zip in a folder tool kit she, please try HTTP://localhost/ toolkits/ setup/index.php

I just tried the same link again. I'm getting the same Object not found error message.
Any further assistance would be much appreciated.
Thank you.
