Hi Guys,
My colleague is working with Unity, producing 3D images and interaction. Could you please advise if there is any way that Xerte can link/open these projects when published into Scorm, if so how could this be done? We've seen demonstrations with Xerte projects where the student progresses to a page, the page loads up and then they can click on the object and it rotates around an axis front to back and back to front. a few people have mentioned WebGL but am unsure on how the process interacts with Xerte.

Any info you have would be greatly appreciated,

Many thanks,

Andy

Hi
sorry I don't know Unity well enough to know what the options are but I would guess one or more of the following might be possible:
Create a public link and then use that link or perhaps embed code in the Xerte embed content page.
Export the Unity package put online and again use that link in the Xerte embed content page.
Export 360 images from Unity and use in the Xerte 3.10 360 image page. This was made available in Xerte 3.10 and I'll past some direct links to sections of recordings where we have demonstrated some of the possibilities.
You would need to get support from your colleague or from Unity as to which of the above is possible or bet according to your needs.

Many thanks Ron,
I have the latest stable version of Xerte 3.10 and have played with the 360 deg option, will have a go at your suggestions.

Cheers,

Andy
