Hi - we're using the downloadable PDF from the results page to take into a portfolio.
Does anyone know if it is possible to do any sort of customization on the PDF? The most important bit is the title field as it bring the XERTE project title, but due to some style code in that field its displaying the code and pushing the title text off the side of the PDF.

If its not possible, that's no problem, but I've promised to ask to check :)

Cheers

Hi
can you provide a specific example? e.g. do you mean that title of the pdf becomes LO title + date + time and you want it to be something different?

Thanks Ron - Info attached:
The PDF Example is the download - but the title of that PDF exports as per the "pdf title.jpeg" - it comes from the LO title (screenshot below) where they have added icons and colours.

Hi Owen (didn't realise it was you asking the question)
I can't replicate this. Do you have custom css or html in the LO title field?
If so what happens when you remove that?
If not share a copy of the LO with my account and let me know and I'll have a look.

Hi Ron - yes I realised it wasn't clear that it was me sorry!
There is custom css and links in the LO title to create a menu, and removing this does change it back to working as expected (but of course removes the functionality from the LO) - we can always add this somewhere else if needed though.
They were also asking about the way that the PDF displays i.e. could they take out the specific answers and just have the overview / add more information such as some lines of text - essentially they want it to function like a certificate: Student 1234 has completed X module - then add it to their medic portfolio.
Cheers

Hi Owen
we'll add this to the long list of topics to discuss during our developer day tomorrow.
Adding some code to strip out custom html from the LO title should be relatively easy for us to do and include in the next release. But the other requirements could really do with you providing a mock up/example of what you would ideally require e.g. both in terms of what the pdf might look like and what the options might be for the authors. If you have that or can create that then share asap and we'll see if we have time to discuss tomorrow.
