This page autogenerates a crossword if you enter the target words and the clues (called Hints here). The answers can only be checked after the crossword has been completed, but you can allow multiple attempts, and correctly placed letters are saved between attempts.

After you have created the overall settings for the crossword, you need to add the words. Click on New Word.
