Adaptive Content: Source Interaction > Based on grouping
Source Interactions can be thought of as links to Interactivity pages with instructions to record performance on them in specific ways. It is possible to add several Source Interactions to an Adaptive Content page to create the effect of a dashboard.
The Based on grouping Interaction Type (selected from a drop-down list - see table below) allows you to group different scorable pages (or from one other learning object), and this page collates all the learner's scores for that grouping. This means, for example, that if you have two different learning goals (i.e. two groupings) in a learning object, you can relate different interactive tasks to each of those learning goals, and display scores and feedback for each learning goal.

Some of these relate to the text used to introduce scores, number of questions on an Interactivity page, and numbers of learners completing the page. Others relate to labels on graphs and their axes.

Interaction Blocks only have an effect on scored pages, so do not add them for an Open Answer source interaction.
Based on grouping > Interaction Block: Core Properties
You only need to add Interaction Blocks if you want to include differentiated feedback or adaptive pathways, depending on the learner's score on the Interactivity page. Click on New Interaction Block at the foot of the central pane.
