section ID

I want to jump within one page and I thought that section ID could do it. But I cant find information how to use that.
I want make a small menu in the top of the page so the user can jump to that section within the same page.
How can I do so?

Do you mean in the bootstrap template?
That´s in Xerte since 3.12. See the release notes: xot.xerte.org.uk/play_86#v312

As Inge says, Section IDs are new in 3.12. They can be added in Bootstrap, but I don't think this is possible in XOT.

If you're working in XOT, the obvious way to have a lot of content on one page, and have users navigate around that content is to use a Navigator page type. I'd suggest you look at
- Interactive list xerte.org.uk/wiki/doku.php?id=navigator_interactivelist_page
- Multinavigator xerte.org.uk/wiki/doku.php?id=navigator_multinavigator_page
- Tabbed Navigator + xerte.org.uk/wiki/doku.php?id=navigator_tabbednavigator_page

If you have content that can easily be organised into a two-level hierarchy, then Tabbed Navigator + may be the one to use.
