Hi
I'm using Xerte 2 (HTML5) and having some problems with displaying video files.

I had the videos uploaded in both .flv and .mp4 formats, using the same file name but couldn't get them to display. I then removed the .flv files deleted and recreated the .mp4 links but this still doesn't work. all lowercase, no gaps etc e.g. disclosure4.mp4

Any suggestions?
Thanks
Vicky

Hi Julian

These are/were .flv files converted to .mp4 using format factory. They are working OK as standalone files.

this is the smallest of the files....

(file is 903kb I'm guessing it's too big to upload??)

OK, they were DivX. I've now converted again from .flv to .mp4 (H264). They still don't work.

What do they need to be, Julian???

Hi,

What browser(s) have you tried in and when you say "They still don't work" what exactly do you mean? Do you see the page with the video in the player correctly but pressing play on the player doesn't do anything? Or does the whole page not load?

How long ago did you upgrade to v2? Can you try going to /version.txt to tell us what revision you are on?

Regards

John
