Yes, I updated the upload.php into the two folders at first. Tested it and then updated the edit.php and tested it again.

Hmmm that is strange. You might need to clear the cache in order to get the new edit.php file as you might still be getting the old one from your browser cache.

Hi John,

I tried it again this morning. yes, I had cleared the cache. I upgraded Chrome from v.33 to v.34.

Results are:
On Chrome, it works fine now.
On FF, it keeps the same as before. (Uploading did not succeed although the message said it's successful)

Thank you.
Jin

Sorry, there must be another dependency that I can't remember... I know that the wizard shockwave object was also updated and should now, for you at least, tell you that upload was not successful as it verifies that the file is on the server before displaying the message.

I'm still at a loss though why FF isn't working. The edit file includes some new code to pass along the browser name and the session id and the new upload looks at the browser name and either uses the passed along session cookie (Chrome or IE) or creates a valid session based on the passed along info (Firefox and some Safari).

I can't be 100% sure that upgrading to v2.1 will fix this for you as it may be something that we haven't encountered yet that is linked to that specific Firefox version. What version and point revision is the FireFox browser?
