you don't need to withdraw from the forum and if there are issues that are specific to Xerte we will help, but in this case we can't really help because the issue is something specific to your hosting or the auto upgrade functionality neither of which we have access to.

I will try to resolve, probably via restore of a working backup.

I misunderstood your first post. Those log entries did not occur when you tried to open a project, but when you tried to run some tests?

What we would need is the log entry of the error 500. Do you have that for us. Perhaps we can see what the issue is.

Hi Tom,
The xerte application opens without issues and my project folders are displayed.
When I try to play / edit the project folder then displays the 500 error.
The error-log is from tests a ran separately from the xerte tests folder on the server.
I have previously switched development to 'true' in the config file.
I would be happy to provide the log entry of the error 500, if you would please advise where to find it.
