I am experiencing similar problems. I log in and I can see "My Projects" page but all the buttons are disabled. I click on an object but nothing happens.

I've tried it with

Firefox 25.0.1
Chromium Version 27.0.1426.0 (185230)
IE Version 9.0.8112.16421 (64 bit)

and they all express the same issue. I have cleared the browser cache before loading the Xerte login page.

Xerte Version: 2.1 (git git-82-g70282af)

To reproduce it,
1. Go to your xerte installation
2. Log in
3. Click on a xerte unit. The preview button is still disabled (it should be enabled).

Do you see any javascript errors, i.e. press F12 in Chrome and look for messages in console

No, no js errors, I'm afraid.

Sorry, this was my fault. I forgot to change the url in the table xt_site_details. Therefore, some javascript files were not loaded.
