Sorry it took so long to get back, I'm not sure if I did this unintentionally somehow but the issues I was facing have resolved themselves except that when previewing modules in internet explorer I am still unable to resize the window which is a minor inconvenience at best. When you say please refresh the cache, do you mean on the browser? Sorry to ask a dumb question.

I'll flag the resizing issue as a bug. What version of IE are you using?
