xerte 3.1 and 3.2 XOT Media broswer has blank page

Hi All

I got xerte 2.1 on server, I tried to upgrad 2.1 to 3.1 or 3.2. only one thing doen't work. XOT Media broswer alway blank
. I tried on my pc (wampserver php 5.6 apache 2.4) look's good. but didn't work on hosting (php 5.6)

Here is the Console from chrome

Uncaught SyntaxError: Invalid or unexpected token

Uncaught TypeError: $(...).elfinder is not a function

so I tried setup a new xerte on server. same problem...

Can somebody help me to fix the problem?

Hi Leslie,

The second line (of the console output) suggests that .elfinder method hasn't beed added to the jQuery object [ $(...) ] and the first line suggests that this is because elfinder.min.js doesn't execute properly on load

Can you please look in the "Network" tab to see whether there are any 404 errors (files missing) or other response codes other than maybe 200 or 204? Sounds like something isn't loading properly. Not sure why it would only not work on your server though...

Failing that, can you check to see whether EnableSendfile (find it in your server config file httpd.conf file) is enabled and try turning it to off. You may have to restart service or server to see any effect.

I am using share hosting account, I don't has access for editing httpd.conf file. so. I can't try this way.

Hi,

307 is a not modified status which looks fine but i'm curious as to why the files take so long to respond (nearly 2s). I suspect your hosting company is throttling something that is causing this... You may have to contact them as this doesn't appear to be a Xerte issue per se. Or ask them if they can change EnableSendfile off for your domain.

Or switch hosts.
