I have just started using xerte to create some elearning that I was hoping to upload onto our hospital's LMS. We use kallidus learn.

I have tried exporting in SCORM 1.2 and 2004, however the LMS admin tells me that the package is not recognised. Apparently the system cannot accept 'multi-sco' formatted elearning, but I am not sure this is the problem. Is there anything I can do to make the xerte export compatible with the LMS?

Thanks

Hi
This doesn't sound right. If you are simply exporting from Xerte as SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004 and not doing anything else to the zip created then I don't think there is anything that should be making Kallidus Learn think that it is a 'multiple-sco' package.
Have you clicked publish before exporting from Xerte?
You could sign up for a free account on SCORM Cloud and test and validate your projects there.

Thank you for your reply - testing it on scorm cloud was successful as you suggested.

The LMS admin contacted kallidus for support and it was resolved for a peculiar reason. Xerte created a .zip file with two subfolders one called _MACOSX and one nameofmodule_scorm_1_2. If it was rezipped with the content directly without subfolders then there was no problem loading it on the LMS. So essentially an issue with the structure of the zip file.
