Installing Xerte with Apps

I have contacted Softaculous, as both the Panel script installer and Ampps are theirs. No answer yet. I was hoping that if somebody had had similar issues some solution could be pointed out. As it works with PC I am assuming that there is something simple that prevents me from not using it on Mac-I've tried disabling pop-up blockers etc but still no luck.

Hi, I had a similar "database setup failed" issue after a PHP upgrade before on my hosting with Softaculous apps. The customer support team found and resolved it:

"The issue was caused by a missing PHP module called mysqlnd which I have enabled from the cPanel -> Select PHP Version -> Extensions."

Many thanks for your answer, which I will icheck. I have been using Xerte with my computer as a local host, with XAMPP, which is quite good, but I will definitely try your suggestion.
