Hosting Xerte on my PC

I have downloaded Xerte into my laptop with Xampp.
How do I get it to work, I can't seem to do it!

there's a guide in the documentation folder.
But essentially create a folder inside htdocs e.g. \htdocs\xerte
Put the xerte code in there
visit http://localhost/xerte which will trigger setup then follow the instructions
If you're using a Mac then from memory you first have to give appropriate permissions to that new folder.

Installed Xerte on my PC and running but I don't get to see any template. Accessing the management platform, I see access set to active and everyone. How do I get to see the available templates in my workspace? Thanks
