management.php window blank

i'm installing XOT and got as far as having it working with unencrypted LDAP

now i'm trying to implement SSL so i changed some settings on the management.php yesterday, and this morning my management.php window has gone blank - and the row of buttons along the top - (Site Central Templates Users etc. etc.) don't work

so i'm guessing it's a javascript error and need to fix one of the LDAP entries i put in yesterday...?

so how do i change the entries directly - i.e. not through management.php ? or is there something else i can try?

Most of the entries you can find in the site_details table in MySQL directly. The LDAP settings are in the ldap table (don't know the name by heart).

However, I would be surprised if modifying the LDAP settings would cause management.php not to work anymore. Did you change anything else (like the URL from http to https, or another location)?

Do you see any javascript errors (F12 in Chrome, and look at the console tab)?

aha! i think i might have tried changing it to https... and that's what the console seems to be saying

how do i change it back?

I don't have access to my own PC right now, so by heart, check site_url in the site_details table.

my management.php is now blank so i can't change it back in there

is the 'site-details' table part of the SQL database? how do i directly edit it? (apologies for my ignorance of SQL...)

I'm in front of my computer
sitedetails is the name of the table in your database and site_url is the field (the second one if using XOT 2.1)
The url is like http://<IP_Addr or Domain>/<Xerte_Directory>/
example
http://127.0.0.1/xerte/ if you installedXOT locally in xerte directory.
