New Xerte XOT 2.1 install issues

I have installed the new Xerte XOT 2.1 install and everything seems to have gone fine.

There are a couple of issues however:
1. Although this is not necessarily an issue as i can directly query the database and make changes there, the management.php page displays a white page after logging in as the admin.
2. Any users that are authenticated via LDAP login as guest

Any ideas?

Update:
The ldap login works fine on the local server but from a client PC the ldap authenticates but logs in as guest.

The issues were solved by:

1. Installed fiddler2 program which identified I had missed a / from the URL so the javascript links were wrong.
2. Copyied the auth_config.php file from another older install.

I installed the same version as you locally on a computer. The strange thing is I'm logged in as Guest, and have no login option.
I'm not prepared to use any SSO/LDAP clogin.
Did you get the same thing, or is it just me?

If you want a login (not sure what the point would be on a local install), you can change the auth_config.php and comment the 'Guest' line and uncomment the 'Db' line. Then you can add users in management.php -> users.

I thought that the login will be taken into account as Author.
Unless there is no point to have a login in a local install
