In the desktop version you could use CTL F5 etc to preview a page. Is there any way to do this in XOT? Once you have 70 or more pages in it takes a great deal of time to navigate through the entire piece just to check the last page added. :- ( None of the desktop shortcuts seem to work for this.

Yes. Press Shift when clicking the view button.
