Showcases area of the website

A quick observation.

It is difficult to find the link to upload a LO to the showcases area of the Xerte Community website.

The link has the text “Your showcase?” but this does not appear in the navigation on the Showcases page. You have to go to the Resources page and then click Showcases in the navigation menu and then it appears as a sub-heading in the navigation.

So it appears on the Showcases page only if you approach it via the Resources page. Confusing.

I'm sorry that it's so difficult right now to upload a showcase. We are just in the middle of the discussion if we let 'others' upload showcases or not. I will inform you as soon as I know more.

Hi,

We're having another problem with uploading to the showcase area. I click onto the link 'Your showcase?' but instead of getting the form to fill in, I get the attached screen showing an error (see link). Could you explain what this means?

Almost...... Next week I'm talking to Alistair from Jisc TechDis how we are gonna handle this. I asume there will be a form where you can uplaod showcases and that the moderater will decide if it's suitable to be on the Community website. Not because we don't trust our users but to keep out the spammers. I will let you know as soon as I know more. Bye,
