Image Magnifier

Hi all.
Ref: Using the Media > Graphics and Sound
The magnifier function works on some, and not on others. Does anyone have any guidance?
Is there an image size (maximum or minimum) for it to work?
Does the image need to be in certain file formats?
Other?
Any help would be appreciated.

can you share a link to an example where the magnifier isn't working?
What image format are you using?
What version of Xerte?
What browser?
What operating system?
I've just quickly tested with Chrome on Windows and with jpg, png, gif and svg and the maginifier works on all of those.

The magnifier will only show if the image is shown on screen at 80% or less of the original image size. This page was made along time ago but from memory I think it looked odd if the magnifier worked on images shown at almost their original size - the magnified section just looked pretty much the same as the unmagnified version.

I think Fay has solved the problem. For your questions we are using Xerte3.9.
Happens in jpeg and png. From some quick tests today it seemed to be a size thing - hence was hoping for clarification. Will test again tomorrow. Thanks
