Reset lost admin password

Hey all,

We had a change in IT personnel, and the password that was documented as the admin password is not working. I have confirmed that I am at the administration login page. I have googled it, and I cannot find any documentation on resetting this password. Can anyone give me some pointers? I have root access to the linux vm that this is running off of.
