Custom theme in theme selector

Hi Xerte community,

I'd like to add a custom theme to the theme selector in our Xerte installation. The theme itself works fine if uploaded for a single course over the UX. I'm able to upload the files on our server per FTP in /themes/Nottingham/mytheme but I can't seem to find where to update the theme selector so that the theme is available over the UX for regular users.

Any guess?

how did you create your custom theme? If it's just a css file that won't work as a thems on it's own - you need a .info file which names and describes the theme as well as a thumbnail image and possibly button images etc depending on the design of you theme.
The easiest way do explore this is to look at the contents of one of the existing themes especially the .info file.
If you already have all that in place then it could be a browser cache issue so try clearing offline files and then force refresh the browser window with the editor open.

Hi Ron - is there any quick guide you can point us to regarding adding a theme to our institution xerte installation - I created the theme using xhibitapp- thanks Sian (Bangor)

Hi we have now worked out how to add a theme at instituion level - but there is an issue - see attached image - any idea why these icons are not display correctly ? Thanks
