Basic information or tutorials

I am new to xerte - using Safari - and I can´t see any way of importing material to the pages. Also, I can´t seem to find any basic information or tutorial, like step to step how to start, showing each window at a time. Can you point me to one?

what are you trying to import?
You can import images: .jpg, .png, .gif, .svg
You can Import audio: .mp3
You can import video: .mp4
You can also import .pdf
Via the properties panel > media and quota you can also upload other formats like .doc, .ppt etc but these will not import and convert it's just a way of uploading and linking to those file types.

Likewise you'll find lots of older but still useful tutorials on YouTube just search for Xerte!
