Variables

Hi Xerte community
I am struggling with Variables.
I do not write code. Fay kindly helped me a while back with some code for variable and I have used that.
I want to get rid of the email text field on my xerte
I want to include: level

I am struggling as I am not a coder. And I have tried to adjust code etc but it won't work.

Hi Anne
I think that when I helped you with this a while ago we had to add custom code to get the form fields to save their data as variables. There's now some in-built functionality to do this. See the 'changing variable values at run time' section of the variables guide for some info about how to do this. After you've set up variables you can add a text box using the syntax [=variableName] & submit buttons using [+submit]. There's more info in the guide.

Thank you for a quick reply.

I will read the guide and hopefully it will help me. II am not very good at variables, so hopefully I can sort it out. You can probably see that I am nearly there.
I just need the level to be active, that is the variable that is currently not working, and I can't figure out why.
