Version 3 Beta (2015-06-08)
A huge thank you to Fay (and everyone else involved) for the brilliant new Media Lesson page. It's going to make a massive difference to us in Modern Languages!
I'm just trying out the subtitle feature and have noticed a couple of things:
1) When the I have two panels in the grid formation, the subtitles appear centred across the whole page. Because of the panel borders, this can appear a bit strange. If I change the layout to 'Left full, tiled right', for instance, the subtitles appear within the media panel, which is what I would expect.
2) If I add a second line to my subtitles, when I go back to edit them, the number of lines is doubled (after each existing line a new blank line is added) and so I get four lines in total. Even if I remove these in the editor, there still appears to be a large gap between the two lines of subtitles when played.
3) I'm not sure how well the position option of top/bottom works. If top is selected, the subtitles appear over the header. If bottom is selected, I feel the need to insert an extra empty line for aesthetic reasons but then run into issue 2 above. Also, is there any possibility of having an option which displays the subtitle directly below the media?
As far as priorities are concerned, I can live with / work around points 1 and 3 as they are at the moment but point two would cause me to waste a lot of time.
Best wishes
David
