Hello,

I am creating a new project using the Default Bootstrap theme and am having issues whenever I try and add images to sections.

When I started the project a week or so ago I was able to succesfully insert images into a text pane. These images are still displaying correctly. However, now I am trying to add a text pane, an image pane, and add images to a carousel navigators and have technical issues.

When adding images to a text pane, I can see it in editing, but then it just displays the jpeg icon when previewing.
When adding an image pane, or images to a carousel navigator, the section completely disappears in preview - I can see the section title in the menu but it doesn't show on the main page.

I have added some screenshots to help illustrate the issue.

Any ideas?!

thanks for the description and screenshot which are very useful.
Judging by the screenshot I'm guessing that the problem is the apostrophe in the file name. Special characters and spaces in file names should be avoided and Xerte will try to replace spaces with underscores but probably not the apostrophe. You might be able to rename and then re-link the file in the media browser or else rename you local copy and re-upload it. Let us know if that was indeed the problem?
