editor window and LO window will not resize in IE9

The default browser teaching staff use here is IE9 (this isn't likely to change for some time).
When viewing the editor window in IE9 the bottom part of the editor is cut off, so the 'Play' button is barely visible (see attached image), and the window cannot be resized. Also, when previewing the LOs the window cannot be resized in IE9.

It works fine in other browsers but our staff don't have access to them...

Any ideas on how to cope with or fix this?

if you have access to the server files edit the following file:
\modules\xerte\templates\Nottingham\Nottingham.info

and you'll see values for editor size and preview size. Try changing 665 to 695 and let us know if that works ok?

editor size: 800,665
preview size: 800,665

Remember to refresh before testing.
