I installed Xerte on my hosting and opted for DB authentication. I am now getting an HTTP ERROR 500 error. management.php works but login fails. What's going wrong?
Did you create a user via management? e.g. Users > Create User
That said when you visit the normal install address rather than the management page you should see a login page and then you should be able to login with the account you created - at no point should that result in a 500 error. So set development to true in the config file and try again and then inspect the Apache error logs.
