Bootstrap - Header left and right logos sitting stacked in centre?

I've only just started with Xerte Bootstrap and after realising I can't change the background colours beyond the 4 themes I thought I'd try adding a header image and / or logo.
The header image is just so big it doesn't work as the LO title text just goes over it and the logo (right) and logo (left) just sit stacked with the right logo at the top and the left logo just underneath it?
This probably isn't a bug / issue but rather something I'm doing....
