Equations not rendering in "feedback section"

In a "stimulating question" page, when trying to include some equations in the "feedback" section they are not rendered.

I also noticed a similar problem with flashcards: equations do not seem to be rendered.

Apologies for not responding sooner. What version of Xerte are you using? This works in the latest version:




You can find your version by going to /version.txt in the root of your Xerte install, e.g

www.yourdomain.com/version.txt or
www.yourdomain.com/xerte/version.txt (if you have Xerte installed in a folder)

Thanks for the reply. The version.txt file says "3.8 - installed from github"
I see that the latest release is 3.9. Is that the likely explanation then?

I'll try to ask if it can be upgraded on the domain I work on (nottingham.ac.uk); I don't suppose this forum is the place for that?

Ah, yes that is the issue - this bug was patched relatively recently.
