Peer review

Hi,

I've just started using Xerte for the first time on a web based installation. I'm trying to enable peer review on my projects, but something seems to be preventing that feature from activating.
I ticked the 'on' tickbox, added a password and an email address to return feedback to, but once I click 'save' the screen reverts back to the 'off' tickbox and no peer review link is generated (even though a message appears at the bottom of the window saying that the changes have been saved).
Any ideas on what might be going wrong?
My IT team believe we got email functionality correctly on the installation and I've made sure the "The site email account is" field has been filled in. I couldn't find any other clues on the installation guide as to what functionalities need enabling for this to work.

A few questions:
Are you using any special characters in the password you are trying to set? Does it work if you just set a simple password like peertest?
Are you able to change other properties e.g change access from private to public?
What version of Xerte are you using?
In config.php set $development = true; around line 43 and then check the error_logs.
