New 'modern x' themes and interaction

I love your new Modern themes. However: at least one of the template pages is not working properly. The Flash cards page does noit show the iomages. Only when I zoom out in my browser, the image on the card is shown.

Is it possible to fix that? We want to use your themes, but we are using the flascards quite often in the modules.

Can you provide a link to an example where this is happening?
Is it all of the modern themes or just specific themes?
Does the same resource work ok if you change the theme to one of the older themes?
How are you adding the images and are you setting to pixels or percentage?
Is it all browsers or just specific browsers?
I’ll do some testing testing tomorrow but I’m now/wasn’t aware of a problem with the Flash card page.

Hi Both,

There were (and probably are) numerous problems with the flashcard's responsiveness, so I changed quite a bit in trying to fix these issues.

These are in the latest 3.6 update as well. So, Ron, keep that in mind.

And yes, JaapJan, an example would be very usefull to us.

Yes, the older themes perform well
I added the image with the media button (side 1 media), I did not embed it with the WYSIWYG editor
I use IE and crome

Fixed it, and yes I broke it in the first place.

It's because I use the size of the box-shadow of the panels in my size calculations, but the modern themes do not use box-shadows.

Uploaded patch v3.6.4 to community website, so just unzip the update package over your install, and all should be fine again, or just the

I did do some quick testing yesterday but wanted to continue today and in the mean time Tom has obviously fixed the issue. So a few comments:
1. I tested all page types with all the new themes but that obviously preceded the changes Tom made to the Flash Card code.
2. I did see some problems when I tested yesterday but they seem to be fixed with Tom's update.
3. When using the Flashcard page myself I often add images and other media via the editor and set the width to % rather than using the flash card media options in the wizard. That gives me more control over individual images and how I want them to look in relation to text etc. Also allows more alignment options.
4. What I think we should add as an editor option is a full/widescreen option for the Flash cards e.g. at the moment on widescreens the flash cards remain a fixed ratio that doesn't really reflect the width of the window. I think we should add a checkbox option so that the cards could be more of a widescreen shape and that would allow text to fill the width of the card even if images remain current height and therefore don't will the widescreen card because that would likely mean too much vertical scrolling.
