Shift^Play in first page causes freeze

To test the page I am editing I use Shift^Play a lot.
Sometimes I forget where I am, for instance when I am editing the glossary, and want to test how that looks. Or when I am already on the first page.
Hitting Shift^Play causes the project to freeze, and I have to exit all Xerte projects and pages, and restart the browser (Chrome).

Yes, that was a bug. It has been fixed in the latest release.
