Error adding users

Hi,
I seemed to have broken the Create User button. I'm getting an error when I try to add a new user in the Management/Authorized User page. I get the following error:
Error when adding user to the Db, do you have write permissions for MySQL?
I have full permission and access and all other functions seem to work fine. I can add a user directly into the db/user table. The added user shows up in the user drop down list and I can delete them without trouble using the delete button.
any suggestions?

Hi Mark,

Can you try using Google Chrome?

Go to management.php
Press F12 to open the dev console - go to the Console tab
Go to the Users tab and press the add users button

Do you see an error in the Dev console?

Hi John,
I did try Google console and I got no errors. I also tried many different options but only get that one error trying to add users. I must have created the error somewhere since a fresh independent install seems to work well. Not sure what I did to cause that error.
If it's something worth following we can try to figure it out otherwise I'll try modifying the fresh install without messing it up.

Yes, I patched a file a few months back because there was a missing database statement. If you installed before May 16th then you would have the only file...

Hi John,
Thanks for following up. The version I've been playing with is - 2.0 (svn r884). Honestly I've been tinkering around in the code and may have broken something. I wasn't playing with that function intentionally but maybe I did something that effected it, can't be sure so I thought the reinstall was my best bet. It seems to be since the reload works fine.
Since that trouble is behind I'm focused now on the page options and their functionality. I'm sure to have plenty of questions there. There so much to choose from!
