On the Dutch forum page JanJaap Vroom asked whether it would be easy to add a quiz like page (several subpages on 1 page) where the learner would listen to a audio fragment or video in a foreign language, and that he/she would then record his/her own rendition of that fragment.

They should be able to listen again to the original fragment and their own recording, until they are satisfied with the result.

There is NO need to store the recording (at this point in time).

So, question, how to record sound? Or video? I can see the benifit of being able to record fragments in the editor as well. Just not sure how to do it.

Hi Tom, Nanogong can be as well a good option.
The only thing is I'm not sure whether it is a service (outside) or integrated (inside) the platform...
I'm a user of Chamilo and they are using Nanogong (and I think another one, but... Nanogong is easy to use !)

BTW, I have an issue with progress when I create a LO using XOT, maybe you could have a quick look if you are ready to investigate on Nanogong through Chamilo :)

Take care !

If I can help I will do for sure...
