Do you have any idea if this is going to be fixed anytime soon? Its a bit of a pain having to manually add these entries in with a statement.

Depends what you mean with soon :-), ehmm, but no, I don't think so.

It will be in the next release, but there is not date yet. I'll give you a heads up when it's fixed in the code base, then you might decide to patch your installation.
