Hi Tom,
Thanks for the quick response. I now only have an ok screenshot. When I have a not ok one I'll send both of them.

I'd first suspect that it is changing of those two URLs that is causing the issue, or potentially that its another file that is timing out. When the browser tries to load a file then it will most likely timeout after a period. Until then the document object will not be complete so you will get pausing of some of the rendering of either the DOM or CSS or execution of the JS.

This will most likely show up in the console (webmasters.stackexchange.com/questions/8...n-different-browsers) either as a js error or in the network tab as a not loaded file. That would be the first place I would look.

Like Tom though I haven't seen or heard of that issue before...

So it's intermittent? Sounds like it could be the server not serving up some of the files properly. Who is the server host? We've had issues before with hosts like Fatcow where it might be on a mega shared server...

EDIT: Ok so reading back I see that it is your own test server... hmmm... back to the dev console when you next see it to identify what files haven't loaded, if any.

Hi Tom,

Hereby three screenshots: one with an ok screen, one with an not ok screen and one with the authentication selection.

I tried the apache trick agian and that's (a bad) working solution.

Rgds,
Klaas

Only the last screenshot made it, kan you try to provide the others as well?

Dis you check the console of your browser. Any errors? What server are you using? Also your own Linux server?

Is there a limit for images as they don't seem to go in the post?

The server is a virtual server, not in heavy load and hosted with a decent provider. No delay when starting XOT at all.
