MariaDB was created by jbijnens
I have to upgrade our server, Debian 8 to Debian 9.
Debian 9 replaces MySQL with MariaDB.
Has anyone already done this transition?
Can Xerte work with MariaDB?

Thank you very much in advance.

The setup script checks whether the PDO extension and the pdo_mysql extension are available in PHP.

If one of these is not available, than the setup routine reports that your version of PHP does not have MySQL support.

If the PDO extension and the pdo_mysql extension are available in PHP, Xerte works fine with a MariaDB server.
