Hello everyone!

I have a question that may have been answered when TechDis ceased to exist earlier in the year.
What has happened to all the step-by-step guides that the Xerte Community lists on the Resources page?
Are they still available, if so where?

Many thanks
Joe

HI
it looks like the entire previous JISC Techdis site at www.jisctechdis.ac.uk/ has a problem at the moment but I know there have been plans to move that to a different server so that may be the reason the links from the community site aren't working which all point to www.jisctechdis.ac.uk/techdis/multlinkre...in_site/xerte-guides

I'll look into that and report back but it may take a few days at least. I wrote those guides and they need updating anyway. If the original links remain broken we'll add the resources direct to the community site so as I say leave it with me and I'll report back.

Hi Ron

Thank you for getting back so quickly. It will be great to have those resources as soon as they are back on. They are very useful ones and that many will appreciate, I'm sure.

Looking forward to seeing them back on. :)

Also, forgive my percistence, in the home area of the community site some 'recipes' are mentioned. A 'how to use' pdf guide suggests that they can be saved a zipped files if one wishes to import them into Xerte for further adaptation. These recipes only appear available as html files. Am I looking into the wrong area, perhaps? or am I missing something?

Thank you so much for your assistance.

Joe
