I've been using PNG format images with XOT, but these are raster not vector. Anyone have anything better than PNG's to use? Does XOT support any vectored formats? Ideally the graphics would be able to scale to the page size.

If you're targeting modern browsers then svg files should work.
But you'll have to add code for them to scale to page size.

Hello Ron:

Thanks for that info. I have a Corel X4 that will export to .svg and have been experimenting this morning, but can't get the files to properly appear in XOT 1.7. The bottom of the image is always cut off if it shows at the right size, but most of the time it shows as postage stamp size. I've tried all the export setting combinations. Not sure what you mean by adding code for them to scale to page size... what/where would I add that?

Thanks

If you're using 1.7 and therefore only flash output you're probably better off with swf files.
But try adding a background to the svg and making it transparent. That used to be the best way to get swf files to resize correctly as the xerte code gets the size from the background image dimensions.
