Select the workspace icon, click properties, click import, browse for the zip, give the project a name and click upload.

Update - I found the answer via the user guides on the home page . However I now have another problem. When I try to import a file I get a message 'The file transfer has failed' Are there likely to be any obvious reasons. I am just using the system as a 'Guest' user and have not configured any user log-ins as yet

The most common causes of this are folder permissions e.g. import folder needs to be writeable or server wide PHP upload or memory limits too low.

Hi I tried to change the write permissions on C:\xampp\htdocs\xertetoolkits\import and give all users write permissions , but that didn't make any difference. It sounds like I may need to understand more about xampp/php configuration and administration, where should I start ? I just carried out a standard install on my local machine so all settings would have been defaults if that helps

OK if this is a local xampp install it's more likely to be the default php settings rather than permissions but for reference it's not all users just the apache user account which is probably ok anyway.

View the phpinfo file via the xampp homepage http://localhost/xampp/ or direct via http://localhost/xampp/phpinfo.php and check for upload_max_filesize and post_max_size values. The upload_max_filesize value is probably set as 2M. Change and increase that via \xampp\php\php.ini and make the post_max_value the same or higher then restart Apache and refresh for the change to take effect.
