As I can see it, you try to load an iframe using http, not https. And your browser does not like that. Try changing http to https on the video that you try to embed in Xerte

Tom, Thanks for your speedy response. I want to make sure we are on the same page. I am using the video template, not plain text where one can import a video. I used the xerte "uploader" to upload my short video clip (mp4) and then brought it into the form where you're supposed to register the video. There is no iframe involved. Is the 404 error because I am missing a xerte file in my installation? If I try to use a url address to load the video, xerte responds that it can't use that as a source.
Thanks.

I thought that, because I see an iframe if I press the link in your first message.

So, the only thing I can suggest is to check whether your video is not corrupted.

here is the link that produces the 404 error:
essentialhebrew.com/xerte/modules/xerte/...r.js?_=1732163979486
Is this a xerte file that the module is supposed to use?
Thank you.

I don't think the video is corrupt. But here is what I did find. The program is looking for this:
popcorn/plugins/popcorn.mediaconstructor.js?_=1732329658378 in the folder popcorn/plugins and I don't have "popcorn.mediacontructor.js" in my installation. Am I missing something? I am able to show the video clip inside of the plain text template when I use the youtube hosting service, which is why I don't think that the video is defective. Thanks again.
