I have uploaded a short video clip from youtube. Is there a way to provent the video from showing an ad for other youtube materials at the end of my video?

As far as we know this is not possible. Perhaps with a paid account. This is also the reason why for Xerte Vimeo works a bit better (or peertube, but then you would need to onstall your own peertube server).
