SCORM "complete" only if all pages are viewed

I'm using SCORM modules in Moodle and in the process of converting over to using Xerte now to produce SCORM modules.

In the past, I had a way to require the student to "view all slides" in order for the SCORM executable code to pass a "complete" flag to Moodle. Is there such an option in Xerte? I have to make sure the student views all slides before they complete the module?

Also, Moodle has an Exit Activity hyperlink outside of the SCORM module display area. If they press that without finishing the lesson, is there a way to make it continue where they left off at re-launch? Would this same method also work if they simply close the browser?

Did you try it?

This should be default behaviour.

Whether it works when the student colses the browser, I don't know, that depends on how Moodle handles that.

I tried it to a limited degree. I'm migrating away from iSpring Presenter and they have GUI options for the number of slides that have to be viewed in order to set a "complete" flag. I'm trying to reconcile the differences to identify any potential roadblocks.

Question: is the complete flag set if the student reaches the last page only, or only if 100% of all pages are viewed? If the student somehow reaches the end without actually seeing all pages, is there a way for the student to know what page is now yet viewed?

Normally a Xerte project will only be flagged as complete if all pages are visited. You can even set the nr of seconds that they have to view the page, but I would recommend against using that.

Also you can mark pages as not counting for completion.
