Xerte, which version

Hi,

I'm new to Xerte, I haven't tried it yet, but I plan to do so now. I am an Internet English (EFL) teacher in Japan. When I write lessons for this class I almost always do so at home, on my own Mac. I am trying to ween myself off of Flash and wish to operate in HTML5, as I see that as the future.

Give my situation, can someone answer a question: what's the difference between the online and downloadable versions, and which is recommended for my case?
