Main holder width was created by Neil Pollock
In the latest version, the x_mainHolder div width has been set to 99.8%

What's the specific reason for this? (Or, what am I going to break if I change it?)

Hi Neil
I can't see who made that change or when but there is a comment where it was added saying:
//The right border is cut off when embedding if setting to 100%
Actually it says broder but that's just a comment typo

I think I remember seeing a forum post saying that their Xerte LO's embedded in their VLE were showing a vertical border line on the left but not the right.
So not sure you will break anything if you change it but keep in mind the reason it was seemingly added.

Thanks, Ron.

This is helpful to know.

I noticed a horizonal scrollbar had appeared on a couple of my resource where I have full width elements on the page, but held off on correcting anything until I knew why the page was now narrower.

Hi Neil
we have a developer day this Thursday so I'll check who made the change and whether there's another way to achieve the same thing without causing horizontal scrollbars in examples like yours. Or they may be seeing this discussion and respond.
