importing video into Synched Video page was created by instildistance

I have attempted to import a mp4 video file into the Synched Video page but it returns the following error: 'Upload error. Data exceeds the maximum allowed size'. I have checked the sizes of the videos I'm attempting to upload are between 1 and 76MB. The Synched Video page is the only page type that populates the learning object at the moment - it's virtually free from any other media files.

It's really odd it should restrict what is being uploaded.

Frustrating to say the least!

Hi Joe,

This is not a restriction of Xerte but rather of the server settings. Your administrator will need to increase the value of upload_max_filesize and post_max_size in the server php.ini file
