Hi

I have to make a gap fill excersise, In drag 'n drop mode, Xerte splits the answers. The answer 8,05 is split in two answers: 8 and 05. One of them is correct according to Xerte....
For the question: attachement 1, for the Xerte generated answers: attachement 2.

When I try to make the question in the 'manually-mode', I notice that Xerte accepts 8 instead of 8,05 or 9 instead of 9,6. Is there an option to clear this? (see attachement 3)

Commas are used in the gap fill page to separate correct answers for each gap. This is so that you could have more than one label that will mark as correct in a gap.

Am I right in thinking that in your example you are trying to have the text '8,05' appear on one label rather than two labels '8' and '0.5'? If this is the case then you can add the 'Answer delimiter' optional property to the page and change it to something that won't appear on your labels, e.g. / .
This would mean that the text '8,0.5' won't be separated and will be put on one label.

I hope this helps

The Answer Delimiter works with 'Fill in Blank' and in 'Drag Drop'.
But using Distractors you can only use spaces. This week I had the same experience with sums about percentages.
It would be logical if on the whole page the same separation could be used.
