Hi all

I've just tried out a test scorm package in Reload Scorm player 1.2, just to check I was doing everything ok before I tried it out on moodle, but it threw up a issue.

Problem validating manifest
(file:/C:/Users/-/reload/reload-scorm-player/server/webapps/reload-scorm-player/course-packages/test/imsmanifest.xml: 1, 548): cvc-elt.1: Cannot find the declaration of element 'manifest'.

I'm not sure what caused it (probably me), the package was a single page with the a short video. It seemed fine in xerte, then I exported it in SCORM 1.2.

I would be truly grateful if someone could pont me in the right direction.

Kind regards

Matt

Hi Matt,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Did you ever get this sorted? What version of XOT did you use to create this?

v3 is in beta just now and should be at full release in the next few weeks and hopefully should fix this issue. If you are not able to download and install this (even on XAMPP for testing the export from v3) then if you are able to share your SCORM zip with me then I will see if I can figure out the issue...

Hi just to add I don't think the Reload SCORM PLayer is a good way to test Xerte SCORM. You could use the SCORM test suite but even then the best way to test for Moodle is to upload to a test Moodle course. You should find that the Xerte SCORM output works fine with Moodle but you might need to set the LO to full screen before exporting or set to open in a new window in Moodle if your theme settings limit the space available.
